AE data acquisition systems

We supply Elsys range of AE acquisition instruments for high speed and resolution monitoring of rock and material deformation and fracturing tests. All systems are equipped with Elsys' TPCE cards, providing sampling rates of up to 240 MS/s and PCIe connectivity. The systems are built in multiple configurations for different applications from laboratory to field environments. All systems are integrated with our acquisition and processing tools InSite-Lab and Server Leach for processing and analysis of passive and active ultrasonic data and near-real time feedback when operating in triggered mode.

Cecchi USB acquisition system

We can provide a low-cost USB acquisition system, with capability of reaching sampling rates up to 1 GSa/s and up to16 bit amplitude resolution:

  • 4 analogue channels per unit, can be combined with multiple units for higher channel count (limited by the number of independent USB ports in the acquisition PC)
  • USB 3 connectivity
  • Up to 250MHz bandwidth
  • Software configurable trace length, trigger level and multi-channel triggering (number of instruments and time window between arrivals)


This USB acquisition system utilises our inhouse software, Cecchi Leach 2, which delivers complete control over acquisition and triggering parameters and seamlessly integrates with InSite for both online and offline processing, enabling comprehensive Acoustic Emission event analysis.
