Technical support for InSite software and AE equipment is only available to clients with a current support plan. If you have a technical support query please email us at asc-support@appliedseismology.co.uk or use the contact form.

The latest version of InSite is v3.21.

Please contact us to request your InSite installation file.  For InSite-Geo, InSite-Plus or InSite-Lab you will need to provide your licence number.

You can find your licence number by:

  • Licence identification tag on your key.
  • Using InSite. Open a new project,  go to "Help" then "About InSite". The message box will identify your licence number and options.

This version is only available for clients currently under support and with a licence updated to v3.21. Contact us if you need to update your licence or want more information about joining our support plan.

Please note all installation files are 64-bit.

InSite v3.21 was released on 4 March 2025.

The following changes have been implemented in InSite 3.21 since the previous version:

  • A new triggering method added to the Leach allowing to harvest events based on a catalogue of processed events.
  • Seismic arrays can now be imported from a higher number of dataless SEED files.
  • Increased size of triggered waveform when leaching BDF or TPC5 files to 256k samples.
  • Improvements to the writing of data to stream visualiser summary files on import of BDF files.
  • Added checks for active pulser array in BDF files generated from Elsys acquisition system.

The following bug fixes are incorporated into version 3.21

  • Fixed import of events from CSV file to a single component.
  • Fixed the check for missing sensors when importing SEGY files when project is set for multiple array.
  • Stopped invalid data being shown when log function is used prior to D-value chart display.
  • Ensure waveform clipping isn't unexpectedly shown after cropping event or merging events.
  • Fixed issue with duplicate or missing events in surveys imported from BDF file.
  • Fixed crash occurring in streamer leach when attempting to process BDF file containing only triggered data.
  • Fixed error "Unable to get sensor information for one or more channels..." appearing when leaching SEGYs from multiple arrays and user has selected to ignore invalid files.
  • Fixed issue with corrupt SEGY file causing streamer leach to hang when dealing with multiple arrays.
  • Fixed potential process hanging in streamer leach when encountering a corrupt miniSEED or SAC file.
  • Corrected missing data points in velocity survey chart when just one survey is in data visualiser.
  • Fixed crashes experienced with new 3D scene object selection method and include any comparison events.

Added import of sensor array using station XML files.
Additional options to export/import processing results, incorporating  source mechanism, PPV, PPA  and local magnitude.
Additional configuration options to use trimmed mean and selectable units in the calculation of local magnitude.
Option for multiple selection of events and components (using Ctrl+A)PCF storing visualisation options for waveform display.
Checks added for blank waveforms on import, preventing crashes.
Added 32-bit option for data range on import or raw waveforms.
Additional report logging as text fileImproved edit of multiple sensors for large sensor arrays

Bug fixes in version 3.20:

Fixed erroneous warning message on import of .csv files.
Fixed performance of Monte Carlo simulation in array analysis.
Fixed crash on navigation between events using keyboard shortcut.
